I have been receiving acupuncture by Paul Lewis since the summer of 2019. I am writing to share my review as I am hoping my experiences through Paul and his work can help someone else the way Paul has helped me. Over the years, I have experienced worsening “head ache” pains that would start at the base of my neck, shoot up to the temple areas, and down to the cheekbones and jaw. Through multiple appointments over the span of about six years, I met many new doctors and specialists, completed multiple diagnostic tests, tried various prescribed meds, and completed a series of chiropractic adjustments and weeks of PT. I was officially diagnosed (and even confirmed by a second opinion) with ‘Occipital Neuralgia’. When the pain was flared, I was completely bedridden. I found myself either working or sleeping. This way of life became not only physically but also mentally and emotionally draining. In my mind, thinking that I simply “couldn’t take it anymore”, I was told that either nerve stimulation (an implanted device) or decompression surgery would be the next steps in finding relief but that both were not guaranteed. I then decided – with much research – to find alternative ways to relieve pain. I can honestly say that Paul and his acupuncture have saved my life. Currently, this is the best I have felt in years and as my husband first hand witnessed these changes take place, he now sees Paul weekly to help with his allergies and back pain. Paul, since day one, you have taken the time to listen, support, better understand, and truly care about me, my story, and given diagnosis. Because of this, we have been able to find the right steps for positive change. I am eternally grateful to you for giving me my life back – and as you know, you are now stuck with me as a permanent “patient”!  THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
